As the large-scale development of 5G continues, the 6G network has also become a hot topic in the industry. Though 6G doesn’t exist technically, according to experts 6G is the next phase of wireless technology. Internet speeds on 6G could end up a thousand times faster than what internet users get now as 6G incorporates edge computing, artificial intelligence, and terahertz waves to help make a completely new type of internet. So, now let us see the vision for 6G beyond faster speeds along with User-friendly Mobile Network Monitoring Tools, Mobile Network Drive Test Tools, Mobile Network Testing Tools and User-friendly Best wireless site survey software, site survey tools for wireless networks & Wifi site survey software app in detail.
6G internet is expected to launch commercially in 2030 and provide more reliable, ultra-low latency, and affordable solutions with speeds almost 100 times faster than 5G. 6G will build upon 5G technology, make greater use of the distributed radio access network (RAN), and drive new communication applications and the terahertz (THz) spectrum to increase capacity, lower latency and improve spectrum sharing. With 6G, latency could drop to as low as one millisecond, and standard Wi-Fi devices like laptops and phones could make way for cutting-edge tech like cellular surfaces and Wi-Fi implants.
6G is the sixth generation of wireless technology, expected to bring about significant advancements – it follows up on 4G and 5G, using higher frequency bands, cloud-based networking technology to deliver record-breaking speeds and microsecond latency.
6G takes mobile phones technology and applies it to a much wider set of uses, including transportation, healthcare, agriculture, and smart-home networks as telecommunications experts say- average people will begin to experience a seamless connectivity. 6G is the sixth generation of wireless communication technology as the researchers and experts are already exploring the potential of 6G to address the ever-increasing demand for faster speeds, advanced capacity, lesser latency, and more reliable wireless networks.
Vision for 6G –
The vision of 6G is to fully support the development of a Ubiquitous Intelligent Mobile Society with intelligent life and industries as 6G vision include a multi-platform next-generation network, standardisation.
6G networks are expected to use higher frequencies than 5G networks and provide substantially higher capacity and much lower latency – greater decision-making capabilities using real-time information can be happened with 6G by improving the responsiveness of law enforcement officials and first responders. 6G will also enable immersive communication experiences such as immersive extended reality (XR), and high-fidelity holograms. Whether it’s public safety and critical asset protection, such as threat detection, health monitoring, etc., 6G will impact government and industry approaches.
Advantages –
- 6G is designed to support higher number of mobile connections which is about 10 x 105 per Km2.
- 6G wireless uses THz (Terahertz) frequencies which leverage benefits of LEDs such as illumination and high-speed data communication.
- 6G overcomes mobile traffic which is generated indoors by using femtocells or Distributed Antenna Systems (DASs).
- 6G uses THz (Terahertz) frequencies which has many advantages as 6G offers very high data rate (Tb/sec) and very low latency (sub-ms).
- 6G will virtualize additional components, such as PHY layer and MAC layer that require dedicated hardware implementations. The virtualization will decrease the costs of networking equipment that makes dense deployment in 6G economically feasible.
Conclusion
6G Network technology is a new and exciting advancement that will be very useful in the future to revolutionise the way we communicate, interact, and consume information. 6G networks with its higher speeds, lower latency, and improved reliability will enable a variety of new applications and use cases and very useful in the future for businesses and government institutions. Therefore, network measurement from time to time is highly essential so RantCell comes into the picture. With RantCell, you can convert any Android smartphone to an RF drive test tool on mobile networks and generate detailed data points through Google Maps to perform the tests.
