About
Rocketman Development was founded in 2007 by AJ Piergiovanni out of a passion for applying complex principles of mathematics and physics to computer programming. The challenge of making programming languages such as Objective C, ActionScript 3.0 and Python do amazing things on the computer that not only entertain but make people think is what drives this business. My games are purchased by online game companies from all over the world and have tens of millions of plays. I also collaborate with developers worldwide for creating games and technical problem-solving.
I continuously pursue learning new things and perspectives to improve and influence my game and application development capabilities, including:
- Computer Science Major at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology class of 2015
- Worked on computer science department projects for two summers at Lafayette College including modeling flood patterns of a local waterway in Flash and generating art using Python
- Studied sustainable energy and engineering in a global and societal context for 3 weeks throughout Scandinavia in May/June 2009
- Took seminars on Esoteric Programming Languages, Complexity Theory, and Complex Variables at the 2009 Splash Weekend at MIT
- In winter 2009, I received a full scholarship to and completed the Dale Carnegie Course
- Attended Operation Catapult at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the summer of 2010 to “explore fundamental scientific and engineering principles and systems” and won second place, with my teammate, for the best overall project and first in computer science projects.
